I feel like, yes, everything he’s written (well, a lot of it) has been touched by this. I mean, this doesn’t feel like my reaction to, say, the MZB news, where I immediately decided her books could no longer live in my house. I’m not sure how I feel about his previous fiction. 7/

I can say two things for sure, though: 1. I don’t plan to support any of his new work going forward. 2. I am culpable for hearing whispers and stories for literally decades and either dismissing them or laughing them off. 7/8
