Visiting my parents in small town Western New York. Regularly see Let's Go Brandon-ish bumper stickers and people talking about how the world is falling apart and Biden has ruined the country(?). These people want a king.

What baffles me the most is that so many don't seem to see Trump as a necessary evil in their desires, but an actual savior who cares about the country and them.

They don't see the dangers to freedom in general as long as the freedoms they don't want others to have are attacked. They see those types of freedom as an affront to God.
