Weirdest KS was buying a highly popular one that was just out, and at retail was £109, but I found in a charity shop for £4 I suspect reviewed and donated, as a reviewer lived locally I gave that to a board games cafe

Alas Vegas took longer but delivered , and with extra as compensation. That was more a "support this endeavour" expense though My yardstick of "KS that seemed to produce something but hasn't" is obviously Star Citizen I was so tempted and feel so relieved I did not back that
