I'd love to see the accommodation supplement go (with the proviso that it is replaced with an alternative way of making housing affordable, which won't be what this govt does), because it's currently a firehouse of government cash straight into landlords pockets and keeps rents high

"The Accommodation Supplement was introduced in July 1993 as a part of radical change in welfare policies announced by then Finance Minister Ruth Richardson in 1991 in her so-called 'mother of all budgets'.
