Am I the only one that can’t function without a thermostat set to 62?

I'm used to 90° summers day and night. If I set my temp to 62° it would be running 24/7 probably break the unit from all the humidity(happened twice at rentals running it in the mid 70s) and be $300 a month on my power bill. I'm air conditioner conditioned.
