Flying cars: Ian Fleming’s novel “Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang” (1964) envisioned flying cars, but first experiments were already made much earlier, like for example by Glenn Curtiss, with the “Autoplane“ (1917) shown at the Pan-American Aeronautical Exposition which was able to hop, but not fly.
