Donald Trump promised to eliminate the national debt. It was $23.1 trillion when he entered office. It was $30.9 trillion when he left. That's $7,800,000,000,000. 25% of the ENTIRE debt in the history of America was run up by Trump, with a GOP-led Congress in cahoots.

It’s fairly obvious, but I just wanted to point out how as the debt grows larger, it harder to be responsible for large swaths of the debt. The fact that Trump is responsible for one quarter of it is astounding.
