this is my feeling. the tricky part of talking and writing about evangelicals is that it’s claimed by both people who would face the gallows before denying any point of the bebbington quadrilateral and also people who think an epistle is a girl apostle.

i think the issue is that people (including me) often think of evangelicals as a political voting bloc rather than a broad category including many people, which is why evangelicals are broken down by black/white/hispanic rather than like, charismatic, reform, trinitarian, etc. think of the ECLA!
