And what’s with TV anchors pronouncing Iraq and Iran as “EYE’-Rack” and “EYE-ran”? They sound illiterate. Not to mention xenophobic and racist. (A town in west Texas named Iraan is “eye-ra-an”, named after a daughter named Ira Ann. But not the country Iran.)
