John Roberts is conservative but I get the sense he truly cares about the institution of the court and the appearance of impartiality. Alito is just a partisan hack. Roberts had the opportunity to overturn Obamacare and joined the liberal side of the court to uphold it.

I usually appreciate your articles, but you missed the mark with this one. The article gives examples of previous polarized eras but fails to acknowledge the fact that this time it is the unethical behavior of the court and corruption of the justices themselves that are a problem.
