Hmm. The new way of trying to get you to have a Smart Meter is to call you and tell you that your meter is due an upgrade. I don't like that. It sounds sneaky. It sounds like, OK, she doesn't want a Smart Meter, how about we tell her that her old meter is old and needs replacing?

I gave in an let a smart meter engineer turn up, and they couldn't fit the smart meter because mine was too old and needed replacing before they could add the smart meter. So I still have my old gas and electricity meters.
