I moved up from Florida and people will often go "why would you do a thing like that? The weather is so nice there" and I reply with "yeah but have you seen florida lately?" and they then go "yeah, you're right"

For me the weather is nice in Florida maybe 3 months of the year - I really don’t get the people who enjoy swamps. The northeast has at least 6 months of lovely weather and 2 months of unpleasant weather and then the rest is tolerable.

We visit FL, where I grew up, once a year or so. Each time my wife will ask "why don't we live here?" and I will answer, "Let's just listen in on literally any conversation between two Floridians."
