I was doing a history PhD at Vic before I could no longer carry on for health reasons. Access to records across institutions was already hard enough and limited to such a degree where it made research so difficult. Honestly, as a distance student, I think I nearly had a nervous breakdown over it.

Notably absent from that article is any firm statement by the Chief Archivist about much more space/how long they have.
