Same! I didn't come out even to myself until I was in my 30s (there wasn't really a word for it when/where I grew up) and by that point I'd been with a cishet dude for nearly a decade

Yeah same hat. Happily married to a cishet woman for 17 years this year. No regrets. So it’s an odd thing to realize.
