Is there a legitimate analysis of whether the right wing pays more for news (and more reliably) than left wing readers? I wonder if this what they are all chasing?

I think more concretely a right wing billionaire owned consolidated press reflects the interest of their ownership, and that ownership is interested not just in being pro-business, anti-regulation, and friendly to conservative values, but in replacing power-challenging journalism with infotainment

Right wing billionaires are happy to sink money into unprofitable media outlets because conservatives winning elections makes them more money on net. To the extent there are “liberal” billionaires who want to make things better they mostly prefer philanthropy because it gets more real results.
