Yeah, I feel like the current situation is approaching untenable, but most of the potential alternative paths being explored seem riddled with impassable land mines. I'm trying to listen and game out the options, but it's not great!

don't know if you've seen it elsewhere yet, but Serwer completely whiffed on that, the original version of the article did not even acknowledge that the House has to vote on a new VP as well as the Senate. The reference to the House (and handwavey "bigger risk" line) were not there when I read it
