What a waste. A couple of the albums, 'Astral Weeks', 'Moondance', 'Veedon Fleece' are all time classics but, as you say, the cognitive dissonance between the spirit and feel of the albums and the bitter wee guy he seems to be is a total wonder - and not in a good way.

Agree with all of that but Brown Eyed Girl would still get me on the dance floor- but then that was the only song of his I ever liked 🤣
