As a policy guy, this makes me so, so mad. If the NHS or the government had done even basic due diligence on the claims if the anti-trans lobby, they would have 100% known this was coming. The whole thing would have been refuted by interviewing any of the 100s of WPATH researchers.

It's even hard to imagine that a professional public service like the UK has *wouldn't* have done such a basic consultation. Instead, they have excess deaths in the teens, and now they get to be responsible those deaths. The longer they bury this, the worse it gets for them.
