The Toronto Star has published -as fact- that Toronto's Pride parade was cancelled after some protesters stopped the parade approx 5:30. I'm hearing from someone I know who is there, now, and they say the parade was not cancelled.

Adding: my contact may have been upstream of the protest, and perhaps didn't see the point where the plug was pulled. Toronto Pride should already have policies and plans for this sort of thing - plans less drastic than cancelling the parade. this isn't the first time protesters have done this!
