It's almost impossible to become a champion of somebody else's struggle. I'm for securing women's health rights, an ally to LGBTQ+ rights, and march with BLM, but I can't make it my brand. It would come across as inauthentic and opportunistic. Tlaib is authentic, and she represents her people.
