IF they do this (and they shouldn’t) i’d pick jared polis. safe blue statehouse, wildly popular governor but it’s still a dumb idea all around. the dem base really likes biden and he clicks with swing voters when they hear from him do more photo ops of biden on a bicycle and move on

i have mixed feelings about polis, he's a little too crypto-adjacent etc., but he'd be fine. i do think it's a bad idea being fueled on vibes, unless biden truly is in "good days and bad days" space. but even if he is, ppl out here pretending this is like calling in the relief pitcher.
