I roughly priced out the fabric and the cost of the full kit seems fine to me, especially since by all reports you get a bit extra. I’m not a beginner per se, but I never did FPP and haven’t sewed in ~15 years. Reviews say this isn’t a first pattern, but is well organized so I think I’ll be ok.

Anyway I got that and then one of the pretty printed panels to practice quilting on and a magnet to stare at me from the fridge and hopefully insist I finish.
