are we allowed to observe that a meaningful proportion of the Biden Old pundit freakout is white men getting up in their feelings about aging and losing their virility?

With apologies to George Box: All models are wrong; some models are useful; and sometimes no model is useful, so spend your time touching grass instead of trying to model when it just won’t work.

Given it’s such a central issue, I’m not sure “skew” is the right word. It rightly and justly can affect the results a lot! I wish the Dems would run on it more!

Ok, thanks. That’s actually the first answer I’ve gotten! :)
It being more her inner circle, than the wider spread of — whatever this is — is helpful to know. Seriously, thank you.

Thanks for answering btw. I’m trying not to freak out too much. As a risk analyst…that’s not easy. It’s just own goal after own goal…

I didn’t much like Biden and never liked the primary system. I thought he was too old in 2020! But the time to fix it was before the primaries. I don’t have the impression that he’s changed much, only the world, both in very predictable ways.

Are you a major donor, a national or CA opinion columnist, or highly ranked in the state or national Democratic Party apparatus?

You didn’t understand the question. I’m asking about the people who thought it was a good idea, because they did it, not the people who found out later.

Yeah.
I’m mostly just noting the hypocrisy. Which — I am well aware doesn’t really matter! But I like to try to understand the processes.

Oh yes, definitely.
Eh. I’m not freaking out about Biden; I am freaking out about the press, the pundits, the donors, and especially the campaign.
This seems to me to be the You Have One Job of a campaign and that they can’t manage it scares me. It’s not a surprise!

Aren’t the same people freaking out about Biden the ones perfectly happy to weekend-at-Bernie’s Feinstein — or play along with that — as long as they could?
This is a genuine question; I don’t know.

Something labeled “tinted moisturizer” with spf might work — I’ve done well with Laura Mercier. I am mac nc40, which may not be vampiric enough. It’s not cheap but can be tried in Sephora.

a) Creating the absolutely false impression Trump has "moderated" on abortion, the proof being the Christian right is really angry with him; and
b) allowing the Christian right organizations to prove to their funders they haven't given up the fight criminalize abortion everywhere.

Library funding is almost always justified through patron numbers. The more people a library serves, the more funding it gets. So even if you don't regularly use a public library, get a library card. It costs you nothing and helps everyone in your community.

"Pace myself up".
I know it's REALLY hard to grok, but pacing is not about increasing what you can do a little every day until you're back to normal. That's graded exercise therapy, and it does not work for people with PEM. 🧪 #MECFS #LongCOVID

I roughly priced out the fabric and the cost of the full kit seems fine to me, especially since by all reports you get a bit extra.
I’m not a beginner per se, but I never did FPP and haven’t sewed in ~15 years. Reviews say this isn’t a first pattern, but is well organized so I think I’ll be ok.

What gets me is that this is straight up propaganda against Biden, super duper basic (and honestly is that all they can find?????), and it’s like the campaign has no idea what to do about it.
I mean. You’re a political campaign. This is like your One Job.

No.
The current issue (as opposed to all the longstanding issues which people are remembering) is that they chose to run an opinion piece, on Independence Day, about why the columnist didn’t vote and you shouldn’t either and voting is bad.
Except he did vote, as shown by the public voter rolls.

Ok, I swear I searched several ways and found several recent stories that a fix _didn’t_ get passed. But it’s looking like those people searched the same ways I did.
The difference is I know I can be wrong and asked, lol.

Yeah, I was thinking of the “trying to skip Harris” part as needing the details. Ohio’s ballot certification deadline appears to be 8/7, before the DNC.

The states have rules for being on the ballot! I do not know them all, but there are around 50 different sets, and I have seen people point out that it wouldn’t fly in x or y or Ohio or the House, and I’m pretty sure if there were a state-by-state breakdown someone (you lol) would have linked it.

It’s the people who want to somehow skip Harris that freak me out.
I think the “Biden decline” thing seems very dumb, but that the campaign has responded so poorly that 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️.
But trying to skip Harris — when I’ve yet to see a detailed and credible plan for how that could even work! — seems…bad.
