Yup. Democrats could nominate Jesus/Buddha/Moses or whomever to be Harris' VP choice and the house GOP would refuse to seat them. This would mean from Biden stepping down to January 20th next year, anything happens to Harris, Mike Johnson becomes president.

I'm unsure of this. People were similarly convinced that Senate Republicans wouldn't let Laphonza Butler take over Dianne Feinstein's seat on the judiciary committee, and then they did it by unanimous consent. If Harris nominates a popular politician for VP, the House trying to block it then 1/
