It won't die with him because it's merely the continuation of a mindset that wasn't eliminated with the civil war unfortunately.

At least to me he presents quite differently than previous candidates. Bush was awful but he wasn’t this, and dole, Romney, McCain, bush sr weren’t either. This is just naked rapacious power unchecked. None of us can know the future for certain of course, but I hope I’m not wrong.
