I feel like my sentiment is being misunderstood here. I've been the chronically ill person stuck at home that everyone forgets about. Having someone reach out means a lot and I want other people to know that we know you can't fix us but you don't Have to fix us, just be there.

👆this I think people always think it means listen to us drone about health problems for hours or something but most of the time I just want to be distracted and talk about pop culture for a bit 🤷♀️

Gorgeous artwork and such an important sentiment. I don't have irl friends anymore or get out much and online folks reaching out means the world. Chronic illness gets lonely, and people recognising that means the world!
