Whilst my pain is elevated again (I reckon the rain/humidity and hayfever), I think my fatigue and malaise are more at their baseline so I can finally fix up the piece to post today. Keep an eye out. π I also haven't been able to respond to shares I'm tagged in but should be able to this weekend!

least, I do often crave having a partner but a lot of my enjoyment has always been fictional. I don't particularly like the thought of penetrative sex irl either, mainly kink. So much so in fact that though I'm gay, I would likely engage with kink with women without a romantic or sexual attachment!

I've honestly heard this a lot about people on the ace spectrum--enjoying fictional erotica and kink but not as much with another person irl. I think that the fictional aspect allows them to explore kinks they like without the need to be attracted to a person. I for instance think I'm grey ace at-

Yes absolutely! I've been quite lucky on other sites but still felt like I had to look over my shoulder often just because of how it could be for someone. Here I don't have that worry. Only that someone might follow me not knowing what I post through starter packs, but that's the risk they take π

I feel you, 2022 was the year for my own big breakdown as well. I'm glad you're doing better and Bsky has helped you along the way! It's so important as an artist to feel like you have support and community, and I agree. It's really well designed for us and I'm loving each feature added. π

I'm glad to hear it! I've been doing a lot of work on my CPTSD since I was diagnosed, and this has helped a lot on that journey. I think probably because it's good for my inner child to have an art space feel so genuine again. π

I feel like my sentiment is being misunderstood here. I've been the chronically ill person stuck at home that everyone forgets about. Having someone reach out means a lot and I want other people to know that we know you can't fix us but you don't Have to fix us, just be there.

It feels a lot more accepting too. I don't feel like I'll be judged for what I make, and being a queer, kinky and disabled artist, unlike other places I've felt like *something* will get me negative attention. So far it's been very friendly here and I'm enjoying it a lot!

It feels so good to be more excited about thinking of art ideas and for when my body allows me to do it in a long time. Part of it is my CPTSD work, but a lot is being here--having an art community that feels much like the pre algorithm days on social media really rekindles an old love for it. π
