Wise words. I’ve been on MySpace, LJ, FLICKR, tumblr then Twitter.. now I am here. I was on oekaki boards even before that. It sucks being in the transition period, and it sucks even more that it falls into an era where industries are crashing and jobs are scarce. But I refuse to lose hope. 😤

Personally it's always a case on case basis when it comes to when you switch off your job. If you want to do it right away at least has a nest egg that can you over a long time or have your partner/family member help cover you in the mean time.
