My constituency is wild, went from being one of the safest Labour seats in the country to them nearly losing it to an independent running on a pro-Palestine platform. Also, happy to note that the trans femme software engineer who ran for the Greens managed a very respectable 3rd place.
Really, big ups to her for running. I was going to vote Lib Dem, but none of their literature was in English and I couldn't read any of it. So I voted Green, for a candidate I could relate to — the first time THAT has EVER happened — and it felt genuinely good. 💚
As a Spaniard, I cannot fathom how everyone else is so bad at counting. I was a rep for a party on last year's Spanish general election, with two separate counts, and in less than 3 hours we had already all the results in our voting site.
