On the 4th we would always have BBQ chicken or steaks, corn on the cob, potato salad and apple pie for dessert (for my dad) AND we would have (for my mom) carne asada, beans, Mexican rice, guacamole, pico de gallo and tortillas. I wish I could enjoy such a meal today. 🥲💔❤️🤍💙🇺🇸💚🤍❤️🇲🇽🎉

I am sorry, Angie! 💜🤗💜 I empathize. It’s hard when one of our parents, or both of our parents, are no longer with us. They are our memories of ‘home’. 💜🤗💜🥰
