Even if tomorrow, the NYT woke up and was like "oh man, we've really mishandled this Biden stuff, let's switch to talking about what a nutcase Trump is!" everything they've already printed is more than enough for attack ads blaring "Biden Unfit to Serve -NYT" until election day.
