I woke up out of a doze to ask a very important question. If you pee during surgery do they just throw down some absorbant sheets and get on with it?

often they catheterize you when you're under and remove it before you wake up, but yeah, if that happens they throw down some blue chucks and keep going, unless it affects the surgical site. just like if you poop when you're giving birth. they cover it up and whisk it out of the way before you know

I watch a fair amount of surgery but it’s never really come up. Given the otherwise very practical nature of surgery I assumed I had it right. Guess I can go back to dozing.
