I’m actually think that having media that expresses the maker’s specific point of view is way more valuable than catering to each individual viewers’ preferences. I don’t want stories dialed down only for me. I want you to tell me your stories, and I want to emphasize with you.

The whole point of art is to experience new perspectives and ideas. Sometimes the most important and impactful pieces come from folks with vastly different experiences than your own and it let’s you see the world in an entirely new way
