I miss when fast food spots seemed good. Maybe its ignorance, or maybe its industry, but the cheap food used to taste pretty good for the dollar. Now some fast food is straight up repulsive to me, and I gotta spend proper money for a burger

Dragon Ball Super is at least 50% more tolerable if you imagine the Pilaf gang is just, the children of the original Pilaf Gang and not them aged down. Of all my least favorite bits in story telling its when an adult is aged down, and expected to just act like a child

Maybe as I was watching I fixated on more things I disliked. I liked the village moments, the portrayal of Shinji’s healing, Rei’s growth, his friends. I liked Shinji’s growth arc, Misato’s redemption, “therapist” Shinji was fun. And that Unit 13 vs 1 fight was creative! 1/2

Before I watch 4.01 I’m rewatching 3.33 again, to sort of recap on the stuff that’s different. Again, even after all these years, I’m so not invested in the ignorant cold shoulder to Shinj for 50 minutes. Yeah yeah it’s probably the narrative thematic point but fuck is it l frustrating
