Oh! well guns and death by guns is so normal here. We're all collectively fucked and jaded by the many tragedies that occur in the US. I wish we could just do away with them. I mean I grew up learning how to turn off the lights and be silent in the classroom during shooter drills. Its expected. :(

Yea it seems that way. Even Healthcare wise I know the NHS in the UK isn't ideal for people like me with underfunded and under-researched conditions. I'm in endometriosis groups and it sounds like a nightmare to find and get specialist in the UK. Though the fact that its funded is nice at least.

Even as a person who lost their mother at a young age and swiftly had a new person "take her place", I didn't relate to it at all. Ended up walking away feeling like it definitely wasn't for me. Im disappointed I didn't like it but it's not FOR me.

Oh yea its just a shit excuse. They don't have actual data to prove we're more productive in office or that its helpful to go in exactly twice or 3 times a week. Its just to push an archaic idea of what working is supposed to be. For the boomers.

They also don't mind hiring remote for seniors and leads sooo. Again. Kind of contradict themselves all for the "good ol days" of needing to shit in the office stall and getting sick every month. Thanks Warner Bros Discovery merger.

Last week at WBGames Boston local employees were told to be in the office 2 days a week because of office culture and so juniors and mids could get proper training. Meanwhile the seniors and leads/managers are mostly remote atleast for me. So how are the juniors and mids meant to be mentored again?
