We just moved into Eden Terrace and saw this the other day on Newton Rd. Looks amazing. We had to get rid of so many tools downsizing to an apartment. Now we keep wishing we’d kept more, but this is the perfect solution. 👏👏👏

We have a few apartment dwelling members. There's also Hackland makerspace in the same building as us, if you need a space to work on your projects

We’ve grown so much since our early days, and to keep up with our amazing expansion (and those pesky bills), for the first time ever, we’re making a tiny tweak to our membership fees. For more info read our post here:

Stripped screws causing you grief? This video offers some great tips to tackle them. We have damaged screw removers at the tool library, as well as drills and dremels to help you tackle those pesky screws.
(And may we recommend squareheads for future projects)

New member, Tejo, was cycling past ALoT when he saw our brand new electric wood chipper arriving at the library. He became a member, then went to get his cargo bike. After loading the chipper onto his bike, he decided he also needed the long pole pruner, and happily loaded that on his bike too! 🚲🇳🇿

A friend has started up an online children's bookshop in New Zealand. All books are selected to be socially concious, inclusive and celebrating diversity. She is an awesome human and this venture has come from her own parenting journey and difficulty in finding such things online. Pls check it out!

Kia Ora lovelies. We need more Xmas fairies!
If you want to jump on board, email me at whaeapower@aunties.co.nz and I will let you know what's required. You don't need to be in AKL.
It's an awesome opportunity to spread Xmas cheer + bring some much needed joy.

Awesome, we also have a smaller, plug in electric Stihl chipper. It's a highly popular item so make sure you reserve it in advance (same with the new one) - aucklandlibraryoftools.myturn.com/library/inve...

Yes! We just bought it with some grant money, it was a bit of a splurge but we don't believe in fossil fuel powered tools 😊

It was a busy one at the tool library today. We had FOUR volunteers on and still had people waiting, after the mad rush we realised all of our gardening tools had been borrowed for the weekend, we've never seen this table so clear!

You do not need an EasyVote Card to vote.
You do not even need to be enrolled and you do not need to take identification with you when you go to vote.
If you are a NZer over the age of 18, just show up to a polling booth and you will be able to vote.
Pass it on.

We have arrived to blue skies! And in honour of the blue sky, we would like to know what you're working on today?
We'll start, ALoT volunteer, Amanda, has a pile of mulch to shift, and a sandpit to build.
