Yes 2000 years ago but those peoples 2000 years ago aren’t exactly like what we are today even Judaism before the destruction of the temple and afterwards is vet different As someone who’s family came to America over 220 years ago from the Caribbean what defines me is American 🇺🇸

Again, all members of the Jewish nation are equally of the nation. The nation of Judea is itself indigenous. A nation is indigenous to its birthplace. And our indigenous connection to Judea, as members of the Jewish nation, is core to who we are. Disagree? Okay. Then what are the Jewish people?!
