She honestly believes that the carbon offsets she purchased make her private jet travel ok. So for her it is really about personal safety from her many stalkers—not an unreasonable concern. Someone needs to inform her of the worthlessness of offsets.

this got some attention so i'm following it up with this. LOOK at this - a 13-minute flight!! if you don't want this behaviour highlighted don't do it! and don't go on about carbon credits - they're too dodgy to be reliable. take the hint, stop flying privately.
