I wouldn't eat cooked tomatoes in any form (including pizza or pasta sauce) until i was 13. I had only ever eaten my mom's home-grown tomatoes right off the vine and cooked fruit smelled wrong. All forms & preparations of tomato are the best, except for those pink potatoes sold fresh as "tomatoes."
