The mobilization to take the drastic step of knocking out their candidate 4 months before the election for me only highlights how cowardly they’ve been for the past 8 to, oh, 50 years. So you CAN take risks when your big funders demand it, you just chose not to when your constituents did.

OK but if Warner is worried about Biden losing (or Trump winning), where’s he been? He’s been more vocal about the threat of Tik Tok than the threat of Trump. He’s willing to go to the extraordinary measure of pushing out the Dem candidate last minute, but court expansion was too drastic for him.

With 9/11 he snapped, full on support-the-President, bomb them back to the stone age, and fuck anyone who disagrees you can leave. My reading was he just didn't like Muslims. Pre-9/11 they didn't factor much into his thinking, post-9/11 they were front and center in his head.
