There is double the number of people in my house. The cat has met two of my in-laws. According to the cat, the mother-in-law is fine, but she's scared of my step father-in-law. To be fair, he is a big guy. She's a bit wary going into rooms they're in, but she is curious. She hasn't met them before.

Apparently, me posting a link the cruise registry saying "hey, not asking, just if you want to or uncomfortable giving cash, here's how you can give a gift for the honeymoon!" made my aunt think I was asking for money. I explained and now apparently she blocked me. Oh well.

I was on the phone with him while looking at a cafe menu. Me: "caramel mocha espresso frappe. That sounds good." Him: "*pause* why can't you drink just coffee?" I do drink just coffee, but we've been having the hot/cold coffee debate for 7 years now. Neither of us will change.

Short week this week! Only working three days. If the kid asks, I'm off Friday because I have a lot of wedding stuff to do, so he can't stay home with me. In reality, I just need a day to myself to relax before wedding stuff and soon-to-be in-laws come.

The stepkid got his Icelandic citizenship today! Kid now had dual citizenship between Canada and Iceland and that can open so many doors for him in the future! We are so proud!

I was so excited to understand the message that I actually responded with "sure here's my number". But some red flags... She hardly ever messages me in Icelandic, unless I message her in Icelandic first. Even then, it's very basic. And when I said I understood, she didn't respond.
