The argument (which I believe) is that Biden is deteriorating and has been quickly the last 9 months or so. His interview with George Steph was abysmal (dodged questions and never gave straight answers in an almost Trump like fashion), his debate was even worse.

From what I heard on Pod Save today they basically confirmed that his debate performance was not a one off and they had seen him like that before with episodes becoming more and more common. The fact that Biden could end this by doing a basic press conference leads me to believe he can’t do it
