Her public announcement that she’s leaned into “embracing the mess” to spend time with her kids is fantastic, IMHO. Organization and declutterring are great, and I think they are worthy pursuits. But there are times when mess is ok, and acknowledging that will hopefully reduce some maternal guilt.

VCA is a chain of animal hospitals, so in that regard they’re probably legit. But they’re apparently owned by Mars, Inc, so whatever they sell online is probably going to be a business decision rather than a medical one. However, if their product has reviews and people seem to say it works, 👍🏻

That is absolutely not to say I wouldn’t do anything in my power to help a beloved pet. But if they want “the good stuff”, it’d probably be just as effective to find an online product with good reviews and go with that.

Based on my (admittedly brief) research, it’s considered an herbal supplement, so it’s not technically medicine, as far as the US is concerned. If a vet carries it, it’s not going to be some special “medicinal grade” formula.

Several studies have established that it is actually cheaper to house the homeless, rather than arresting and jailing them for non-violent crimes, monitoring and tearing down tent cities, and building anti-homeless architecture. We could do better, as a society. We choose not to.

It may sound weird, but have you tried loud hurt puppy noises when he hits you? The more dramatic, the better. Sometimes responding like another puppy would is enough to get it through their adorable, fluffy heads that they need to take it down an octave or twelve.

Here in WI, I feel like we’re on the same path. We just got new maps, broke the GOP stranglehold on the judiciary, and now we’re working to re-elect Evers and Tammy Baldwin, and we have a couple excellent candidates that who are fully capable of making Van Orden unemployed. There is hope.
