My grandfather used to make chili and then put it on spaghetti and in Texas that branded him as a super weird person. I have since heard that in other states the spaghetti thing exists and honestly it does seem like alternate reality stuff!
The chili I grew up with was beef, onions, spaghetti, beans and seasoning. Generally cheese, sour cream, and some sort of cracker added after it was put in a bowl. Not far from Skyline chili, but without the sweetness-- they use cinnamon or cocoa powder or something in their seasoning mix.
