Pharmacists and medical staff who don’t wear masks…. Why. What’s the thinking there

I had a mask-wearing GP. He retired. The new one does not. Only 1 out of 6 staff wears a mask. None at the gastro clinic. They have signs announcing that masks are not required. At a place which sees cancer patients.

I was in a doctor's office a month back and a medical professional (with postnominals and everything) asked me, wide-eyed, 'Why are you wearing a mask?'

I had a colonoscopy last wk. In the consult w the anesthesia nurse, I said I’m COVID-cautious & want my mask left on during the procedure, over the O2 tubes. She was enthusiastic re my COVID precautions request…I got into the procedure room, & 1/2 the staff was unmasked, incl the anesthesiologist.🤬
