Also, he was POTUS, & you would think if he *did* have a colonoscopy pre-scheduled, it’d be for 1st thing in the morning. An afternoon colonoscopy means he had to fast & go w/out liquids for at least 6 hours before-hand. (Rather than those 6 hrs being overnight ones when he was asleep.)

The most remarkable part of this story is that the bus came along just in time. Meanwhile the rest of us end up waiting 15-20 mins because the bus we needed JUST pulled away before we got to the bus stop.

I think, with how leaky that WH was, & with the number of people who’ve now turned on him, by now we’d have heard if he was on the toilet for a day. I could be wrong. But I’m definitely skeptical about whether this was actually why he went to Walter Reed. I lean towards something urgent/unexpected.

I remember this! And not only did I doubt he actually had a fully-conscious colonoscopy (because he’s a wimp), but as most people know, that procedure requires fasting & shitting your brains out the day before, along w fasting/no liquids the day of—it’s not a spur of the moment procedure!

for context: this is one of the two conservative law school professors who championed the 14th amendment argument against Trump, giving it a real boost last summer. unsurprising that he's for the rest of the court's decisions but down on that one and the immunity case
