Yeah, I have a 10 year old diesel jeep. It the engine warranty was extended by the manufacturer, and that's good because it had some issues. The motherboard for the computer is probably going to have to be replaced too. That there's only one dealership with a service department here doesn't help.

The original Time Bandits is really a sort of weirdly layered set of stories about growing up with a lot of jokes aimed at adults in an ostensibly children's adventure film (looking at you, "I need fruit" joke). It sticks in my brain decades after seeing it, so I could enjoy a fresh take.

I love my cat. I really do. But today she is doing the "ask for attention, then deliberately flop down out of reach" so that I have to follow her out of my home office. It's both cute and infuriating because it exacerbates my back and hip injuries to try to reach her.

Yeah, that's a tricksy bit. The cable coming into the house is fiber, and won't have any give or slack, plus it needs hardware right at the entry point to the house. I was hoping for another route to solving your power issue, but ... ooof. Sorry.

The computer in my Jeep is doing this thing where it *insists* specific sensor is bad. I’ve had the sensor replaced three times. I’m waiting for a new computer for my model year to come in.
