evict* not convict. Speaking as someone who's currently homeless, that's a huge difference. Besides, most weren't outright calling him a criminal. Only "a disgrace to America" or whatever. That was the point. Watered down language is cowardly, while 34 unanimous guilty verdicts isn't.
