The theory sounded appealing at the time, but it turns out the sort of lawyer who strives to become a Supreme Court justice is the same as the sort of lawyer who becomes a legislator or president. Some founders, lawyers themselves, knew that and wanted their own unsupervised playground.

He had a pretty good storyline with Brandon Cutler where, IIRC, they both were like 0-20, first two matches were draws, then cutler won the 3rd. They both started as underdogs, but avalon became the bad guy in his desperation to win. Also, Cutler was doing a D&D thing and 20 sided die was involved.

This is an important story and it's good she blew the whistle. CIGNA sucks. She was railroaded by HR. And, perhaps she really did identify systematic inefficiencies and waste. That's good! But make no mistake: her job was second guessing your doctor.
