The only show I’ve even paid $100 for is Springsteen and while I would love to see him at an actual monster stadium show I wouldn’t do it again. I think the only other artists I would pay triple digits to see are dead.

Not a scientist though. In order for the pitcher’s sweat-drenched jersey to weigh 10 pounds he would need to sweat around a gallon of water (which weighs 8 pounds). I can say that soaking wet wicking shirts feel really gross and uncomfortable.

My wife sounds worse than I do with congestion right now, as well as a very low grade fever, and yet she tested negative for Covid on a new test (ie, a newly purchased, not expired test). I guess we will keep isolating even though it seems fairly obvious she has it too.

Once told a co-worker I truly hated Tool. Couple weeks later, he & other coworkers invited me to their house for a cookout. When I got there, Keith said “Tool is my favorite band”, proceeded to play Tool for 4 hours. All the free food and beer I wanted, but I had to sit through Tool.

Last night I had a salad at South Philly Tap Room that included pickled rhubarb, which might be one of the best tasting quick pickled things I’ve ever had. My Grammy made rhubarb stuff all the time when I was young, but I never actually had any until her funeral, where I learned it’s delicious!
